Dear Alumni,

We would like to bring to your notice, the current placement figures for the Year 2009 – 2010.
The placement figures for the current year have been average. So far, in spite of recession we have been able to achieve (146 out of 290) through 12 companies which is good to some extent, but we are always targeting for the 100% landmark.
Please find below the details of the campus recruitments so far:

As many of our regular recruiters have narrowed their intake this year, we are planning to add new companies on our potential recruiter list.
We the students of VSSUT, Burla look forward to all our esteemed alumni to help us with the following:
1. Please write to us at placement.uce@gmail.com , placement_uce@rediff.com if you have the exact point of contacts or recruitment cell heads which T&P can approach and subsequently with your help can pursue for a possible chance for VSSUT through on-campus/ off-campus/ walk-in.

2. Please keep us updated about the corporate proceedings to initiate the recruitment drive in your company. It will be great if we can form a task force on a per company basis, comprising of a couple of students and a couple of alumni in that company.

3. Please encourage bilateral Industry Institute Interaction programs such as Industrial Visits, Projects, Summer Training, Internship Programs, College Visits and Guest Lectures etc.

4. Our request to BBSR Alumni is to please work toward the great initiative of building a placement cell extension on the purchased land. That would be a major landmark in the history of our University.

5. Even if companies print recruitment ads in newspapers or through other print media, please keep us posted on any job offerings by dropping a post to the alumni website or on the given email ids, so that we maintain a strong networking among us.
