It is a matter of utmost pride for us to remind you of this premiere technical institute. Established in 1956, University College of Engineering, Burla, Orissa, is the first engineering college of the state of Orissa. Preserving its rich culture of unrivalled performance in technical education, on the 53nd year of its inception, the college created history by becoming only the fourth technical institution in the country to be granted ‘Unitary State University’ status under the name “Veer Surendra Sai University of Technologyâ€. The University thus eagerly waits for its promising future with great enthusiasm.
Every year we organise an Annual Cultural Festival, but this time it is Special as it marks the 1st Spring Festival named “VASSAUNT†after being rechristened from UCE
(A Unitary University).This year the festival is being organised from 19th to 21st March’10.
The festival provides a congregate platform to the students at large involving them in varied activities such as Dance, Music, Art & Photography, Drama and many more.
